ABOUT HALLOWHEELS

Welcome to the 9th Annual Hallowheels fundraising event hosted by Children’s Assistive Technology Service (C.A.T.S.)! We are excited to invite you to be a part of this heartwarming celebration of children with physical, neuromuscular, and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide refurbished assistive and adaptive mobility and communication devices to these children free of charge, helping them achieve better health outcomes, independence, and full participation in their communities.

Hallowheels is our annual fundraising extravaganza, and 2025 marks our 9th year of spreading joy and inclusivity. This unique event celebrates kids with disabilities in any costume of their choosing and also showcases one-of-a-kind children’s costumes, thoughtfully designed around their mobility devices. Families receive instructional videos and costume kits from C.A.T.S., enabling them to create extraordinary costumes that truly reflect their children’s personalities and interests.

Celebrating Children with Disabilities in Spooktacular Style! 🎃 👻

  1. **Costume Creation:** Families sign up to participate in our Hallowheels event and can request costume kits that are accompanied by instructional resources and virtual assistance.
  2. **Virtual Costume Parade:** During Halloween week, we proudly display pictures of these incredible costumes on our website. Each costume represents the creativity, love, and dedication of the families involved.
  3. **Families advocate for community** As followers of C.A.T.S., you’ll have the opportunity to participate in inclusive events and support the availablity of equipment in the community. For every $1.00 you donate as a vote for your favorite costume, you’ll contribute to the C.A.T.S. assistive technology equipment reuse program.
